Humanitarian Mental Health Platform
A secure digital platform supporting disaster victims through patient-doctor consultation and psychological support access.
About This Project
Following the devastating Derna disaster, this humanitarian platform was built to provide psychological support to affected communities. The system connects victims with mental health professionals through a secure, structured consultation flow. It includes patient registration, doctor matching, appointment scheduling, and confidential communication channels — all designed with sensitivity, security, and ease of access in mind.
The Challenge
Disaster victims in Derna needed immediate access to psychological support, but traditional healthcare infrastructure was disrupted. A secure, accessible digital solution was urgently needed to connect patients with qualified professionals.
The Solution
Designed and built a secure platform with patient-doctor matching, encrypted communication, and structured consultation workflows. The system prioritizes ease of access for users who may have limited technical expertise or connectivity.
Results & Impact
Delivered a production-ready platform enabling remote mental health consultations for disaster-affected communities. The system provides secure, confidential access to psychological support with minimal technical barriers.
